I am excited to introduce you to our new family business, ”mandy,
maddie & me”. I am the owner (Karen) and live in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
I have two daughters who, like me, are crafters and love interior decorating.
Mandy and Maddie will be highly involved in the business. Mandy,
lives several hours away and Maddie lives in Montana, so we will be working on
different ideas for the business. My daughter, Allison, who is super busy
raising three little girls, ages four and under, lives closest and is a great support
and shares lots of ideas. Mandy’s talented husband, Brian, makes gorgeous
hand-made wooden furniture, mostly primitive style that will be sold in the
shop. I have several granddaughters who are anxious to be involved. I have two sons, one who lives on the East
coast and another son who lives locally and I can’t forget to add my supportive
husband, Bill, who is always so encouraging.
Opening day will be November 2014 which will be held in
Colorado Springs.I know that it sounds like a long way off, but we will be
busy purchasing inventory and making beautiful treasures for you. The business
is planning a holiday show, called "Seasonal Sentiments", featuring beautiful Christmas
home décor, seasonal and everyday vinyl signs, hand-made tables and delicious
food and bathroom gifts. We hope to have something for everyone; teacher and
neighbor gifts as well as beautiful items for your home.
Mandy and I are planning a business trip before Thanksgiving
to meet up with Maddie in Montana. This will be a combined business and pleasure
trip. We will be helping a friend set up for her boutique show and attend
her three day event, then Mandy, Maddie and I plan on doing some fun antique
shopping and finding goodies for the shop. We're looking forward to spending quality time together and enjoying a fun break from the kids and hubbies.
